Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the services provided by Left Hand Thermal ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") to you ("Customer" or "you"). By scheduling, requesting, or accepting services from Left Hand Thermal, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Services Provided
Left Hand Thermal provides residential and light commercial HVAC repair, HVAC maintenance, HVAC installation, and electrical services in the Northern Front Range area of Colorado. All services are performed by qualified technicians in accordance with applicable Colorado codes and standards.
Services are provided only within our defined service area. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service at our discretion.
2. Estimates and Pricing
Estimates provided by Left Hand Thermal are based on information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary if conditions discovered during service differ from what was initially described or visible. We will communicate any significant changes before proceeding with additional work.
All pricing is provided in U.S. dollars. Payment is due at the time of service completion unless a separate written agreement has been made.
3. Acceptance of Work
By authorizing Left Hand Thermal to begin work, you confirm that you are the property owner or have the legal authority to authorize repairs, installations, or modifications to the property. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area.
4. Right to Cancel — 3 Business Days
For contracts entered into at your residence, you have the right to cancel this agreement without penalty within three (3) business days of signing or authorizing the work. To cancel, you must notify Left Hand Thermal in writing by:
-
Email: info@lefthandthermal.com
-
Mail: Left Hand Thermal, Longmont, CO
-
Phone: 720-526-2185
If you cancel within the three-day window, any deposit or payment made will be refunded in full within a reasonable time, provided that no materials have been ordered or work has been performed at your request prior to cancellation. If work has begun at your specific written request before the cancellation period expires, you may be responsible for the reasonable value of services rendered up to the point of cancellation.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling of Appointments
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled appointment. Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in a service call fee or refusal of future scheduling.
6. Warranties
Left Hand Thermal stands behind our workmanship. We offer a limited labor warranty on services performed. Warranty terms will be provided in writing on your service receipt or installation documentation.
Equipment and parts warranties are governed by the applicable manufacturer warranty and are separate from our labor warranty. We will assist customers in understanding and processing manufacturer warranty claims where possible.
Warranties are void if the system is modified, misused, improperly maintained, or damaged by circumstances outside of our control, including but not limited to flooding, power surges, or unauthorized repairs.
7. Limitation of Liability
Left Hand Thermal's liability for any claim arising from services rendered shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of income, or damage to property not directly caused by our work.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, code violations, or system deficiencies that existed prior to our service and were not part of the agreed scope of work.
8. Electrical Services
All electrical work is performed in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. Permits are pulled as required by local jurisdiction. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that any previously permitted or unpermitted work on the property is disclosed to our technicians prior to service.
Left Hand Thermal is not responsible for damage to electronics, appliances, or other equipment resulting from pre-existing wiring deficiencies or conditions that were not part of the authorized scope of work.
9. HVAC Installation
All HVAC installations are performed to manufacturer specifications and applicable Colorado codes. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their home's existing infrastructure — including electrical panels, ductwork, and gas lines — meets minimum requirements for the equipment being installed. Any upgrades required to meet code or equipment specifications will be communicated and priced separately prior to installation.
Left Hand Thermal is not responsible for the performance of new equipment in structures with inadequate insulation, air sealing, ductwork, or other building envelope deficiencies unless those items are part of the agreed scope of work.
10. Financing
Left Hand Thermal plans to offer financing options for qualifying customers in the future. When financing becomes available, specific terms, rates, and conditions will be provided by the financing partner at the time of application. Financing approval is subject to credit qualification and is not guaranteed. Left Hand Thermal is not a lender and is not responsible for financing decisions made by third-party financing providers.
11. Access and Safety
You agree to provide Left Hand Thermal technicians with safe, unobstructed access to the work area. Please ensure that pets are secured and that the work area is reasonably clear prior to our arrival. We reserve the right to stop work and reschedule if conditions are unsafe.
12. Permits and Inspections
Where required by local jurisdiction, Left Hand Thermal will obtain necessary permits for installation and major repair work. Permit fees may be included in the project price or itemized separately. It is the customer's responsibility to allow reasonable access for required inspections.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes arising from services provided by Left Hand Thermal shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Colorado.
14. Changes to These Terms
Left Hand Thermal reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be available on our website at www.lefthandthermal.com. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
